Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullah Wabarakatu

Respected Parents

We have come to the end of a very spiritually enjoyable and academically productive term. Alhamudulillah! I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the staff and all my students for an amazing term filled with lots of hard work, fun, laughter (we had some very entertaining morning assemblies) and great successes due to the diligence and commitment of everyone. Some of the highlights of the term include the following:

  • We won 1 st and 3 rd place in the WA Water Wise Competition
  • We won 1 st & 3 rd Place in the National Kids Safety Competition
  • We received 2 High Distinctions (Top 1%), 8 Distinctions (Top 10%) and 12 Credits (Top 20%) in NSW Science Examination – that was held throughout Australia, NZ and the Pacific Islands, totaling 400,000 students.
  • We received 6 Distinctions (Top 10%) and 15 Credits (Top 20%) in NSW Math Examination – totaling 335,000 students.
  • We had a very interesting display of hats for our Book Week in August. The children’s talents truly amaze me, I am so proud of them.
  • We had an excellent Anti-Bullying Poster Competition and Assembly Presentations promoting respect, tolerance and appreciating each other’s differences.
  • At the Inter-school Soccer Tournament our Soccer Team showed off the talent attaining fourth place overall.
  • Our school choir’s performance was outstanding at the Australian Citizenship Day. 540 students shared Morning Tea (lamingtons and pies) with delegates from Parliament.
  • Ms Phang and the Year 6’s Science show was the equivalent of visiting Scitech.
  • A visit from the WA Police (const. Odin Cann & Bev Pearce) at our morning assembly.
  • Our Dianella school carnival was filled with lots of fun and huge array of talents with the Orange team proving to be the true champions of the day.
  • We also participated in our first ever Inter-School Carnival and had quite an experience showing off the future Olympians of Australia. Insha-allah.
