C-Curriculum:

 Q1) Is the AIC curriculum in accordance with the standards outlined by the Curriculum Council?

The AIC is registered with the Education Ministry which issues us a license to operate. This license must be reviewed every 5 years and thus far our record for maintaining an acceptable academic standard, is impeccable. All subjects taught at the Australian Islamic meet with the standards outlined by the Curriculum Council. Subject moderators visit the College regularly to monitor and sample student work. In addition the College participates in competitions such as WALNA (Western Australian Literacy and Numeracy Assessment), in which our students have demonstrated that they are performing well above state average.

Q2) What is the concept of Islamic Studies at the AIC?

At the AIC Islamic Studies is taught in a unique and profound manner. We feel that there are several steps which lead to our ultimate goal of serving humanity.

Step 1:Knowledge: - Acquired through reading, writing and memorisation.

Step 2:Understanding and Reflection: - Focus on the importance of righteous behaviour

Step 3:Practice and Implementation: - Practicing good morals in day-to-day life
