Dear Bus Driver,

 

Alhumdulillah the past year has been a great success, in all aspects and it could not have been such a success without your valuable contribution to the college.

 

We all look forward to another great term of Unity through our theme of COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY.

 

To achieve this goal, your hard work and sincerity will be of utmost importance. The image of Islam and the school depends on what the public sees on the road and thus we should make a conscious effort to portray Islam in its true essence to the public. Therefore I urge you never to under-estimate your role and responsibility. Remember you are the ambassadors of Islam, and at all times your attitude, manners and behaviour should reflect that of a true Muslim. With sincerity of intention, all acts become worship. Thus never undervalue the importance of your work. Think ‘big’, and consider your work to be more than just a job. Begin to view yourself as a valued contributor to the fortification and spread of Islam. In this way, even in times of difficulty, hope will prevail.

 

You have the perfect opportunity to do ‘practical’ dawa, through your presence on the roads of Metropolitan Perth. The way you drive, the way in which the students conduct themselves is reflective of the Muslim community in general; so do not take this opportunity to spread Islam, lightly.
