11 June 2021

Dear Parents,

I would like to welcome you all to Term 1 of 2021. Alhamdulillah, this year we have so much to be grateful for. It was lovely to see our existing students returned from their long holiday. We are also very grateful to see so many new faces in our school, our new students and their parents. I would like to convey my sincere thanks to our wonderful parents of our existing students to maintain their trust in us in educating their children, and my warmest welcome to our new parents and their children. Thank you for choosing our school for your children’s education.

High Quality of Education

Our school has been able to uphold its reputation of being able to deliver a high quality of teaching and learning in a very supportive, caring and nurturing environment. Our staff are highly qualified and with their superb work ethic they work their hardest to ensure that your children perform to their fullest. Our school’s focus in the areas of academic excellence; Islamic values and community integration means that you are ensured that your child is in the best place indeed.

School Building Project

This year, our school is undergoing significant development projects such as:

  • A Block major renovation – two story building with a gymnasium.
  • Installation of 10 up-to-date touch-screen Interactive White Board.

Insha-Allah we will continue to do this as to improve our school structure and physical appearance.

Student Representative Council:

Alhamdulillah we now have our 2021 AIC Thornlie.

I would like to congratulate the eight students from Year 6’s who after undergoing a selection process and thorough consideration, they have been selected to be members of our Student Representative Council Thornlie Campus 2021.

They are (not in particular order):

Shuhrabeel, Hoorain, Rania, Azyah, Hana, Naa’ila, Mysha and Alisha. Well done and Masha-Allah.

During their speech presentation in Week 5, they displayed confidence and they showed many great ideas that they would like to implement in our school or to contribute to the school. We are very proud of them all. I would like to congratulate their parents as well.

We are really blessed to have them at our school. They consistently display exemplary behaviour and the school role models for their peers, and very importantly for the younger students.

Alhamdulillah, by being the SRC members, they have a great opportunity to learn and display many skills such as public speaking, organisation, get along, collaboration, working in a team and leadership. This is very important as they are all our future leaders.

There are a variety of events taking place this term. Some of these events are:
