AIC is Making it BIG In WA – Ranks in Top 20:
Once again Australian Islamic College has made it to the news. This time all three AIC colleges have been declared amongst the Top 20 ranked schools in WA. This is a moment of sheer pride for us. This ranking is measured through NAPLAN results, in this regard, the performance of the last 4 years of AIC has been monitored.
On Wednesday, the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority revealed statistics covering four years. When compared to children from similar socioeconomic and educational backgrounds, kids from high-achieving schools displayed above-average literacy and numeracy performance.
Primary and secondary schools in each State that are “high-performing” and “punching above their weight” have been recognised by ACARA.
14 public schools, five independent schools, out of which four of them are Islamic institutions.
The reading, math, writing, spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills of around 1.2 million pupils in Years 3,5, 7, and 9 were tested in May of last year. Parents received their children’s individual assessments in September.
This is a clear indicator that students at AIC have certain skills that could help them excel in their careers and develop their personal skills.
