Perth — In a significant move to enhance parent-school communication, Australian Islamic College (AIC) has launched DIALOGUE, a new WhatsApp-based platform designed to keep parents seamlessly connected with their child’s education.
The innovative service allows parents to receive real-time updates, submit queries, and manage school-related requests — all through WhatsApp. From attendance tracking and re-enrolment to early pickup notifications and general inquiries, DIALOGUE offers quick and efficient support at parents’ fingertips.
Parents will also receive instant alerts on term breaks, upcoming events, and urgent school notifications, ensuring they remain fully informed and engaged with school activities. This new platform has been introduced to enhance convenience and accessibility for parents.

Getting started is simple: parents need to send “SALAM” to AIC’s WhatsApp number +61 8 9362 2100 to activate the service. Once initiated, users are prompted to select their child’s name and the relevant department before submitting their queries directly through the app. AIC’s team will respond as soon as possible to assist with the request.
The motive behind this new platform is the convenience for parents.
The launch of DIALOGUE reflects AIC’s ongoing commitment to improving the educational experience for both students and their families by embracing accessible, user-friendly technology.
