Principal’s Message

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatulahi Wabarakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, after facing Covid19 restrictions in Term 1, this term we are allowed to conduct our morning assembly, pray together in the Mosque, excursions and incursions.

It is wonderful to see our Kindy and Pre-Primary students enjoy and have fun with their new playground equipment. They have fun playing in the new big sand pit.

This term, access to and from the early Childhood is available, Alhamdulillah and this definitely makes teaching and learning much more smoother. Kindergarten and Pre-Primary students enjoy having their sport lessons in the main school oval this term.

There have been a range of school activities and events held this term. Teachers with the support from the management, our parents and P&F, have been working extremely hard to ensure the success of each event that they provide for our children.

Six of our students participated in the Inter-Campus Quran Recitation Competition held in AIC – Kewdale Mosque on Thursday, 2nd June 2022:

We would like to congratulate all our students for their hard work in getting themselves prepared for this very special event and their great achievements. May Allah Swt be pleased with them, guide and protect them always. Aamiin!

• On 7^th June, all Pre-Primary classes went for a morning walk (close vicinity to the school).
• Pre-Primary A and Year 1C will be having a Planting Day in Jacqueline Park Drive Park Land, Thornlie on 22^nd June while the Pre-Primary B and Pre-Primary C will be having it on 23^rd June 2022 (in conjunction with Armadale / Gosnells Landcare Group).

Our Religion teachers are rostered to deliver speeches based on the Seven Islamic Values on Wednesdays during morning assembly. Those seven Islamic Values are:

2. Knowledge
3. Service
4. Excellence
5. Compassion
6. Courage
7. Resilience

On Friday, 6^th May our school celebrated Eid Ul Fitr. Students and staff came to school in their beautiful Eid outfits. Our teachers organized class party and Eid Gift Exchange in class.

On Thursday, 19^th May, Pre-Primary classes held a Food Stall fundraising to raise fund towards their graduation ceremony that will be organized at the end of the year. Our lovely parents prepared snacks and sweets for the fundraising and our P&F helped selling during morning and afternoon recess.

Alhamdulillah, on line NAPLAN this year went smoothly. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our teachers who worked extremely hard to prepare their students for NAPLAN. Thank you also to all students for studying very hard and their parents for their support at home.

Semester 1 assessments are in progress. Please check your child’s Teams account for Primary students and Class Dojo for the Early Childhood of any announcement regarding the assessment dates, homework, assignment, term project, revision or other general announcements. Semester 1 progress reports will be available for the parents to view on line in Week 10 of this term.

Please encourage your child to participate in ICAS Test Competition.
