Australian Government – Commonwealth Funding

The Australian Islamic College (Perth) Inc (AIC) is a not-for-profit association overseeing a co-educational, faith-based school system with six colleges in metropolitan Perth and Adelaide. With over 450 staff members, the AIC is committed to serving approximately 5,000 students. As the approved system authority, AIC receives recurrent school funding from the Australian Government through the Commonwealth Department of Education. This funding is crucial for sustaining day-to-day operations, including staff salaries, professional development, teaching materials, infrastructure maintenance, equipment procurement, and general operational expenses. Additionally, it supports specialized educational programs catering to specific learning needs, offering extension opportunities, and assisting disadvantaged students.
